Main Contractor: Construction of New Library Building including all associated services and Re-alignment of the Castletymon Road along the frontage of the new building approx. 60m

• The Project involved the construction of a new Library building of approx. 600m2
• The works included the re-alignment of the main Castletymon Road at a busy junction into the local housing estate.
• MDT carried out all traffic and pedestrian management during the works including diversion of pedestrians and traffic to alternative temporary routes so that works could be completed.
• Strict H&S measures were put in place and a comprehensive traffic management plan put in place by our team. Castletymon Road is a busy two lane road. There is also a local school and children movements during lunch hours had to be carefully monitored.
